Jacksonville University is a private liberal arts institution founded in 1934 in the Arlington district of Jacksonville, Florida. The university offers more than 100 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs across specialized colleges, including the triple-accredited Davis College of Business & Technology, the Brooks Rehabilitation College of Healthcare Sciences, and the College of Law. It enrolls approximately 4,247 students drawn from 49 U.S. states, five territories, and 85 countries on a 260-acre campus along the river.
The university has been recognized for over a decade as one of the best colleges in the southern region by U.S. News & World Report and is named among America's Top 500 Colleges by Forbes. Its athletics program, known as the JU Dolphins, competes at the Division I level with 18 varsity teams.
