Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is a faith-based, nationally accredited nonprofit that serves vulnerable Floridians through a range of social, educational, and health services. Founded in 1982, the organization operates more than 60 programs across over 40 Florida counties from its headquarters in Tampa. With approximately 1,400 employees, its work touches the lives of one in every 50 Floridians annually.
The organization's services are structured across several key areas. Its Head Start program delivers early childhood education and support to low-income families. The Family Focus division offers foster care, youth shelters, crisis intervention, refugee and immigrant support, and adult guardianship services. Its Health Systems operate mental health and substance abuse programs across 23 counties in Florida.
